Vitamin D140: Ingredient #3: DatsiK + Excision
I was throwing down a pretty hard electro set last friday and decided it was time to wrap things up and grab some mickey d’s breakfast, when a girl shouted out “play some DatsiK”. I was simultaneously disgusted and in love with this girl and the fact that she loves to Vacay. So I gave her what she wanted and played for another hour or so, poppin in chunes that I usually have flagged as “DANGER: do not play in front of a crowd”. To my surprise the washington/bmore area has been spreading dubstep like a disease and converting people to the dark side, with DatsiK & Excision to blame for this…. They decided to start a dubstep collaboration at the perfect moment and have been riding the dark gangster dubstep chune train to the forefront of the dubstep scene. DatsiK used to dabble in some Hip Hop and Excision in DnB, but together they produce some absolutely raunchy Dubstep vitamins for all to enjoy.
