Whaddup Vacayland. Since lining up on HypeM we’ve been getting zillions of submissions, so we’re starting a weekly Mailbag Monday where we sort out all of the nonsense and bring you the best of the best. Some of these names you may recognize, but we’ll also be on the lookout for future potential too so that we don’t miss any up-and-comers.
So here goes. I present to you, Vacay’s MAILBAG MONDAY!
I give you Religion. This is the most powerful mosh pit provoking, government overthrowing, Vacayrific song in my itunes (Drop @ 1:59 = Mass Destruction). Some idiot was careless enough to drop this into the wrong hands a.k.a a terrorist’s like myself. Dance floors will not be safe this summer! Imagine a song produced by Boys Noize, remixed by The Bloody Beetroots and mastered by Mr. Oizo. The result would be:
So the first submission to catch my attention was from a group Euphorie. These guys are pretty new, but they’re on the grind and it’s working for them. Apparently they spent many nights hopped up on coffee fine-tuning these two tracks, but it was worth it. I’m really digging the sound, guys. They have an album on the way, so cross your fingers and hope it’s as good as these epic tunes suggest it will be.
The next tune I have for y’all is a remix of Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Dull Life. Yeah Yeah Yeahs have proven to be outrageously mixable and this is no exception. Thanks for the submission Prof P. Head over to Professor Purple’s myspace if you like what you hear.
