mmm yess indeeed. It is monday and I have music. There’s something in the air this month that just makes life so much more enjoyable. As the world comes together every march in Miami for a music conference (WMC) that showcases the biggest names along with various newcomers, I think music may also be much more enjoyable this month as well. If your not planning on attending the conference, I suggest you revaluate your life choices…. Anyways, I’ve got some MEGA tunes for you this monday. First up is a remix of Fenech-Soler. This UK band is the future of Electro-Funk/POP. If your planning on attending SXSW, they will be @Latitude tomr, the day party on Weds, the hypem control party thurs, and @ SOHO lounge on thursday nite. The new Gorillaz album is everything that I wanted to be plus more. It is indeed their best album and is well worth buying it (Album on Itunes), here’s a little edit of empire ants.
My obsession with nu disco probably started with treasure fingers and it has spread like wild fire ever since. If your into dreamy synths and a fusion of funk & POP beats, I suggest taking these vitamins. Here’s a couple jams from two of my favorite artists: GRUM (UK) & Bag Raiders (Sydney).

This remix peaked at no.1 a couple days ago on the hypem charts. I think its worth a listen, nothing too special tho. Hypercrush is a trio from LA made up of 2 vocalist (a girl and guy) and a DJ.
If you guys have been watchin the new HBO show “How to make it in America” then you’ve probably heard the intro song. I did some digging and I discovered a Soul singer from LA named Aloe Blacc. He’s got a couple other GREAT songs. Go check em out on his myspace here.
