Ultra Music Festival is coming up. When Terror told me to create a dubstep post to honor the event I thought, sweet, this is amazing. Little did I know I would end up finding and listening to well over 100 songs to bring you the very best Ultra has to offer.
After pissing off my roommates for hours on end, I bring you an amazing amount of dubstep madness. Regarding Ultra and WMC week in general, if you are in Miami or have any way of getting there, fucking go. Drive, fly, or hitchhike (see: Swedish) if you must, but fucking go. Seriously. 2009 was the year of dubstep and this is reflected in the lineup at Ultra. Rusko, Skream, Benga, Bassnectar, Bukem, Toddla T, Sub Focus, and more will be blasting apart the stage Friday and Saturday of WMC week.
I was first introduced to the wonderful world of dubstep (and other wonderful worlds too… whoa) at Starscape music festival in Baltimore last year and have had an insatiable desire to consume more. Luckily, these vitamins are free and you don’t have to worry about meth contamination.
