Hailing from Australia are the new duo Voltage. Voltage is a relatively new side project from Dan Whitford (Cut Copy) and Joel Dickson, who have appropriately released their EP “All Night/QE2″ on Cut Copy’s ‘Cutters’ record label. The genre ‘disco’ doesn’t do Voltage any justice as the tunes are packed with anything and everything which sounds good.
All Night is an addictive up-beat tune seemingly sent from outer space whilst QE2 is a relaxed late-nighter, suitable for anywhere at around 4am.
The entire EP also includes remixes from the likes of Azari & III, Munk and In Flagranti which can be purchased here.
Bonus: Another track I’ve been dying to share with people; Tensnake‘s mix of Azari & III’s ‘Reckless With Your Love’. Its a big one.
